What is the age range and gender of youth whom the Foundation mentors to?

Females between the ages of 13 to 19.

Why doesn’t the Foundation work with males?

The Foundation will like to focus our efforts on one “assignment” at a time. When we focus on just one gender, we’re able to give them 150% of our time, attention, and efforts.

The Foundation does work with another noteworthy organization, The Village Nation (www.thevillagenation.com) who mentors and tackles the issues that our young males are faced with today.

Where does S.T.A.R. operate?

We are currently based in Sherman Oaks, California and our services extend throughout the Los Angeles Unified School Districts and other close surrounding schools.

S.T.A.R. Foundation is recognized as a 501(c)(3) organization and your donation is tax deductible as allowable by law. To make a donation, you may do so online by clicking the donate button on our homepage. You may also support us by visiting our “store” and purchasing a t-shirt. Or, you may mail a check/money order payable to S.T.A.R. Foundation located at 14431 Ventura Blvd., # 264, Sherman Oaks, CA 91423.
